Review of Innovative Legal Service Applications
Innovative Legal Service Applications: A Guide to Improved Client Services by Lawrence S. Pascoe is a comprehensive guide with a simplified and condensed approach for lawyers in building a better marketing technique system.
With over forty-two years of practice under his belt, a seasoned lawyer and author, Lawrence S. Pascoe, releases a guide on improving marketing techniques through innovative legal service applications. This book contains a division of five parts with a total of fourteen chapters. It begins with an opening remark on why a lawyer should read this book and the main message for its existence. The author leaves no room for assumption but defines the title and discusses twenty elements of legal service application. He exemplifies these elements under five legal practices, including family law, wills and powers of attorney, and estates law, amongst others. Leaving nothing to chance, the author dedicates a whole chapter to ensuring this knowledge’s implementation by creating a practical guide on time management to achieve the set goal. In conclusion, he addresses three subject matters about the legal profession and its needs with a final note of encouragement.
Lawrence S. Pascoe is no ordinary lawyer. From the pages of his book, his systematic and meticulous approach to curating and innovating techniques for better services is a no-brainer as to why he is successful. The author is so extensively thorough in his discussion that he even exemplifies what a lawyer’s to-do list should resemble. His writing style is impeccable, suitable, and convincing for specialized lawyers and curious readers. There is a wealth of knowledge buried in the pages of this book, one of which I exhumed while reading and would like to share. It says, “I can do anything, but I cannot do everything.” This statement is a gentle reminder to manage work stress and do your best.
I was worried this book would be out of my league, but to my surprise, I had a good time reading it. The author was highly relatable and dealt with practicable teachings. Readers could also apply his words and advice in business and daily living. For instance, the subtopic that addressed keeping scorecards and learning to manage time and energy was aptly resourceful for me. I also love how he softens the seriousness of this book with humour and war stories from his own experiences. I had a good laugh when the author confessed to being unable to read his writing.
I commend the author for an intricately compiled work and a well-done job. In a nutshell, there is nothing I dislike about this book. It is also exceptionally edited and free from errors. For these reasons, I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.
I highly recommend this book to lawyers and other readers curious about legal services applications. Sit back and buckle up; this book is all-inclusive, with an excellent appendix for further research.
