In his non-fictional, philosophical book, In It Together: The Beautiful Struggle Uniting Us All, author Eckhart Aurelius Hughes offers some very thought-provoking yet peaceful information and ideas.
Have you ever felt disconnected from the world and those around you? Have you ever thought you were alone in your struggle? Have you wondered why this world has so much hate and suffering?
Within the pages of In It Together: The Beautiful Struggle Uniting Us All, we remember that we are not alone, that ordinary people are not inherently “evil” or “bad”, and that we all have our reasons for doing the things that we do, and that this human life unites all of us together, whether we like it or not.

I enjoyed this book because it delivers a refreshing and much-needed message that many people may need to hear in our current time. A time when there is much political tension, division, anger, hurt and trauma, especially after the last couple of years that we all went through.
In It Together: The Beautiful Struggle Uniting Us All was a friendly reminder that we are not alone in this world, despite our differences and why humans might act in specific ways or not help when they see someone in need. The book also highlighted the amount of suffering happening in the world that we may need reminding of, suffering inflicted by governments and fellow humans, and suffering that we don’t always see.

The book was easily readable and thought-provoking and left me feeling a sense of inner peace and love after completing it. I feel as though I have been waiting for somebody to publish a book with this message for a while, and I am happy that I had the opportunity to read such a book.

I did not find any grammatical errors or negative aspects to this book, it was edited well, and the author’s ideas and thoughts transferred well to the paper. I enjoy deep thinking regarding life, humans and philosophical matters, and this book delivered those matters well.

I would recommend this book to those who identify themselves as deep thinkers, lovers of philosophy and pondering life’s “hows? And whys?” or those who are also sick of an agenda of hate and division and want a reminder that we are united no matter what, and that there is, in fact, love in this world.
I would rate this book a 4 out of 4 stars, as I thoroughly enjoyed it.
