With the rise in diagnosed cases of chronic health conditions like cancer, diabetes, liver problems, kidney problems, etc., there is a need to consider the risks that predispose a person to these conditions. The book, Chronic Heavy Metal Poisoning vs. Your Health examines the effects of exposure to heavy metals like mercury, lead, nickel, manganese, aluminium, etc. The book states that these heavy metals are toxic to the human body and could be the underlying factors that cause health problems like the ones mentioned earlier. The book also states that conventional medicine has failed to factor in heavy metal poisoning as a major health threat even though it is evidentially destroying people's health globally. From there, the author narrates his own experience battling heavy metal poisoning as it was on the verge of destroying his and his wife's health. The author highlights the effects of various heavy metals on human health. He also recommends appropriate tests for heavy metal toxicity. The author goes ahead with recommending Chelation Therapy as the effective treatment course for heavy metal toxicity. Chelation Therapy uses special drugs that bind to heavy metals in the bloodstream.

It is important to note that the author of this book, David W. Maloney, has been a practising pharmacist for the past 50 years. This gives the book some level of authority as a health journal. One thing I admire about this book is that Maloney wrote this book about his experience with heavy metal poisoning. He tells the reader how heavy metal poisoning affected and brought down his health. This point of view is convincing enough for a reader to believe that the concepts in the book are factual and true. I also love the fact that Maloney is very specific about his recommendations in this book. He recognises the fact that heavy metal poisoning can't be handled by just any physician. He makes recommendations on where a person can get treatment by providing contact with addresses of the physicians. This would be particularly helpful to the reader.

I couldn't particularly find anything to dislike about this book. This book is a powerful book that will help any reader to live a life devoid of diseases. I personally was not aware of the fact that humans are exposed to heavy metal poisoning in virtually all spheres of life, ranging from food, pharmaceutical and industrial spheres.

This book is professionally edited as I could not find any typos or grammatical errors in the course of reading the book. I rate the book 4 out of 4 stars. I give this rating because the book addresses a vital health issue. The information in this book is premium and indispensable.

I specially recommend this book for health professionals, like doctors, nurses, pharmacists, etc. The information in this book would definitely help them improve their knowledge base and service delivery in their professions. It is also recommended for those suffering from chronic health conditions. It provides another perspective on managing and possibly eradicating these health challenges.
