It teaches readers how to set goals, make plans, and perfectly execute those plans. It shows how readers can make their ideas a reality and attain real success. In the twelve chapters of this book, the authors gave out invaluable information on the various key factors in setting goals, gaining control of one's life, and maintaining complete focus on one's goals. The authors also wrote about how the reader can improve himself and his skills. Things to avoid in order to attain success and achieve set goals were also discussed in the book. Stick to Your Dreams by Bill Allardyce and Steve Gray inspires one to take the needed action that will guarantee results. It provides resources readers can use to get ahead in life; it brings about a change of mindset that will result in an improved work rate that will cause the reader to enjoy life to the fullest and be his most confident self.
I loved how the authors provided the resources and tools needed to execute all the ideas in this book. Rather than just motivating readers with mere words, the authors gave the applicable principles to help readers plan and achieve maximum success. Also, I loved how detailed the book was. The authors were comprehensive with every topic in the book; they gave great insight and details on how to work out the principles and why they are important in the pursuit of success. I loved how well they stressed each point to signify its importance, especially the point of taking the processes step by step rather than overwhelming one's self with new ideas. It showed that most things are achieved gradually rather than in the blink of an eye. Finally, I loved how the authors shared personal experiences as well as experiences of other achievers, and they didn’t fail to back up their claims with researched information. The researched works substantiated the accuracy of the points and ideas in this book.
In my opinion, the book was well written, detailed, educative, and insightful. However, I found a lot of spelling and grammatical errors in it. I don't consider the book to be professionally edited. Also, I would have appreciated it more if the book had been a few pages longer than it is because I wanted to learn more from the vast experiences of the authors.
I received so much knowledge from this book. Owing to that and the many reasons for which I like this book which I have stated in other paragraphs, I will rate Stick to Your Dreams by Bill Allardyce and Steve Gray three out of four stars. I removed one star because of the errors in the book.
Everyone deserves a chance to accomplish their dreams and be successful in life regardless of race, religion, age, or sexual orientation, and what better way to start the journey to success than to pick up a copy of Stick to Your Dreams by Bill Allardyce and Steve Gray. People with a hunger for success will appreciate this book. I also recommend it to all lovers of self-help books.
