Let's Help You Self-Help!

By Anthony Jocob Braaten, was diagnosed with PTSD, ADHD, bipolar I, and other mental health illnesses but, he overcame all those illnesses after he had therapy for a very long time and with the help of a loving family. He made it clear that he is not a doctor or an expert of psychology, but he survived a number of mental health illnesses. He categorised his topics into twelve important points, that will help everyone to achieve happiness in life and inner peace. He mentioned that he crashed his car in order to stop himself from participating in the football practice.

The way he puts his topics into pieces and well informed chapters I liked it. Each chapter begins with the quote that inspires the reader. He made it clear that he is qualified to advise, mentioning his incidents he experienced in life and that he learnt from the mistakes he made.

In each chapter there is the reminder and the blank space for the reader to practice each and every exercise mentioned in the chapter. This book is very good for those who really need help, and have accepted that they need help. It has to be read now and again, to have a clear understanding of the author's aim. There is nothing I disliked in this book, since it was written by the person talking from experience. It is unbelievable that after all he has been through, he wrote that book to tell the tale, and to encourage readers to be able to heal themselves.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars, irrespective of the condition the writer has been through, he managed to write his book that inspires others.

The author is willing to work with all those who want to reveal their true-self, by pushing to the extreme.
