I like memoirs in general. The book looks really interesting and the title captured my attention. It is really great when someone overcomes difficulties and abuses and find a way to go on with in a more positive way. Thanks for your informative review.

A memoir-type of book with someone treated badly is not something I may like to give a try. Your review is thorough and I liked it

The book seems to deal with quite sensitive and painful topics. It is appreciating that the author uses as little profanity as possible. Thanks for the wonderful review.

I agree, the author had the courage and strength to talk about her not at all easy life path. Thanks for stopping by.

Carla's memoir seems full of ups and downs. I never expect this book to be so full of the cruelty she experienced. Thanks for an honest review but I might not read this book because of the negative aspect you mentioned.

Quite a book what stresses the importance of family and the relationships that make up the family. I also like that the language is mild enough, despite the book covering some dark issues. Thanks for your great review.
