[Following is a volunteer review of "Angels Watching Over Me" by Pam Ware & Linda Dipman.]
“Angels watching over me” is a religious cum self-awakening book that could help in realizing the reasons behind every good and bad perspective of life cycle and moments. The story revolves around Pam and Linda and how their life oscillates often but something was always there that made them constantly believe in good, love, emotions, and help.
Pam, with abused childhood, loving and caring women who help dying people to leave the world happily without regrets, have a lifelong physical injury during a car accident. That accident rolled up her life when she recognized God’s action pushing her to the new path into the world. She is the social worker and health care person who helped LGBTQ people during AIDS/HIV epidemic, she worked as an entrepreneur, having her hospice company to help dying people. The story talks about her struggle through her family, healthcare service, love life, accident, lifelong pain, her business, and how she becomes a believer from being an atheist and devotes her life to serve God through her work.
Linda, as described emotional, loving, caring Christian who wants to learn and teach lessons about unconditional love, without any barrier, following God’s grace willingly. She has been through heartbreaking times once she started following the path of love that doesn’t seem normal to other people and was tortured emotionally for loving a woman. Divorce, children’s custody, parent’s denial, running single person business, attack, jail sentence, and lot more life tests, that she passed and stand alone with the help of love from her angles. With all this, there was something unbelievable that kept her motivated to keep on going when everyone wants to make her heterosexuality her curse for life.
This book talks more about Christianity and the other books of its religious history along with defined verses of the Bible and books in reference to the story. As this book involves the perception of satan’s evil wishes and God’s heavenly wishes, readers might find some points controversial that raise question about long-run beliefs through generations, but that totally depends on the free mind perception and acceptance about what you want to believe and want to see behind words. The reason behind every doing of God can’t be seen but can be felt to the bones. Want to suggest this book to the readers who want to believe and want to know about unconditional love of God.
What you will do when everyone around you including your family turns back to you? Will that make you suffer or believe?
This book tells us how you can see your life when you look at it as the plan of creator God, and endure through every moment with strength that is provided by angels who are watching you doing good and believing in God. I would like to rate this book as. 4 out of 4., as it was edited perfectly and has a lot of teachings. Flow of story run back and forth from real-life stories to Christian historical stories, intermingling the lessons from different times and simultaneously interpreting the verses through the story. This book may attract mature reader as it talks about beliefs, religion, abuse, heterosexuality, and perception of life struggles.
