This is a unique family story of Clayland family. You get to know the ups and downs faced by them. It shows us the other side of love which is not just getting physical or fake promises , its having faith ,trust and belief in each other. And there is no doubt a mothers love is always immortal for her children ,own blood or adopted kids doesn't matter.

This review had me interested in this book. A story about a family's hardships and sufferings gives us an idea of our own life and its values. Lastly, hats off to Henry for taking care of everything after his wife's death.

The fact that author didn't even get to see her mother is really a heartclenching feeling (I cannot imagine living without my mom), but still she gathered enough courage to write about her without even knowing her is admirable. The attributes Henry had shown while raising his children is really something to learn from. Author did a great work showcasing the eternal love her parents had between them .
Congratulations BOTD 🎊🎊

Unexpected deaths in a family can really alter the livelihood of one's existence. This review has drawn me in and I truly cannot wait to read this book. I'm also not Mormon, so this book can provide clarity to me about this religion. Congrats on being BOTD!

I was yet to read any book that relates to mormon faith although this book sounds inspiring and full of hope.

This sounds like an interesting, though difficult story of this family. I'm intrigued about the references to the Mormon religion - it's not information that's easy to find.

I can imagine that my own family feels this way, as we also had 7 total family members. Personally, I do not believe in Mormonism, but I am sure that there are interesting facts about this family's history to learn about in this book. Congrats to the author on BOTD! :)

The story presented in the review is captivating. It is a story that forces the reader to examine the choices he might have made if faced with the trying circumstances. Thanks for your review.

The review gave a very positive stance on religion, beliefs and norms about godesses. The author sincerely related her personal and her family's sad plight after losing her mom on her natal day. At the Foot of Serenity is a typical example how fragile relationships can be like destructible monuments made of rocks and dust. A perfect BOTD for the month of brides & grooms
