Most website owners have not understood the secret of taking advantage of or improving their websites to their benefit. This problem could be due to several factors explained in Carma Spence's book, Home Sweet Home Page: The 5 Deadly Mistakes Authors, Speakers and Coaches Make with Their Website's Home Page and How To Fix Them!.

In this book, the author started to explain what "Online Presence" means and how to effectively use your "Online Presence" to market your products. The author delved into discussing the five deadly mistakes of "Homepage Design" and fixing these mistakes. From this book, readers will find out how to create a website that will attract and sustain visitors.

For me, this book is one of the most valuable books on how to utilize your website development. It left no stone unturned, as it revealed many mistakes most people make and how these mistakes have resulted in their hardship.

The positive aspects of this book are many. The first positive thing I noticed about this book was that it revealed the problems of website development and discussed how to fix them. For example, after each chapter, the author extensively discussed how to fix the identified problem. The book's title revealed the book's true intent, as readers would quickly grasp the book's content.

Another positive thing I discovered about this non-fiction book was that it added additional links to find more information about the topics discussed. I found this very interesting because it gave website owners more advantage to find more ways to improve on their "Homepages."

Likewise, the part I liked most was that the author used some excellent quotes in the book. An instance of such a quote was on page 27, where the author quoted Earl Nightingale, who said, "All you need is a plan, the roadmap, and the courage to press on to your destination."

Also, I enjoyed the tone of the writer. She spoke persuasively. One of the instances that intrigued me was when she opined that sixty percent of researches was done through smartphones. I saw no reason to doubt these statistics because they seemed very accurate. I appreciate the author's in-depth analysis.

There was nothing I considered negative about this book. In other words, I disliked nothing about the book. The book seemed to be professionally edited, as I found only one significant error. Due to these issues I mentioned above, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I recommend it to those who want to make effective use of their "Home Pages" or websites.

I like the practical side of the book. There is no unnecessary theorizing but the author has concentrated on the essence.
