The Warrior Within Me by Issa E. Nesheiwat is an inspirational book that seeks to encourage readers to trust and never lose faith in God during trying times. In this book, the author intends to reveal the secrets to remaining steadfast and fearless when trouble comes.

Mr. Nesheiwat recounts episodes in his life that almost made him lose his faith in God. In one instance, his sister was diagnosed with leukemia. And the author wondered why God allowed such despite his dedication to Him. The sight of his parents crying about his sister's diagnosis was unbearable for him, and he thought God had betrayed his family. However, the author had a prayer session with his sister, and they both noticed something extraordinary that day. After a dream in which he walked out of prison with his sister, the author knew God would heal her. But he never expected the other nerve-racking and faith-testing episodes to follow.

Firstly, I must commend the author for sharing such an inspiring story with us. Most times, we struggle to believe that God is still watching over us when things go south. Hence, we either end up not learning the lessons the trial came with or remain ignorant of what we should do to overcome such situations. This self-help book presents insights into the reward for faith in God and what we should do to nourish and grow our faith. The author reminds us that the battle against evil is a spiritual one that requires spiritual weapons. Therefore, he encourages readers to use the Bible to understand the part they must play to strengthen their faith.

My favorite aspect of this book is the author's message of resilience. I like that the author teaches us to know that the Evil One is always on the prowl to make us turn away from God and also destroy us. But that we can draw inspiration from Jesus' temptation and be tough enough to cast Satan away. I also love that the author gives us some tips on how to remain resilient and steadfast spiritually.

Furthermore, I learned a lot from the author's insights into God's methods of communication. For example, the author shared some dreams he had and the correlating events that happened after them. And this goes to show that God is ever willing to speak to us if we are ready to listen.

Nevertheless, I must report that the Kindle version of the book contains lots of formatting mishaps. This issue nearly detracted from the author's flowing writing style and my enjoyment of the book. In many instances, a sentence would break off at the middle of a page and continue on the next page. Also, a lot of words have spaces and hyphens between the letters. One such example is having 'accountability' written as 'accountabil- ity.' I later got used to these issues, and they didn't cause as much distraction as they first did when I started reading the book. However, they are worth pointing out.

In conclusion, I am awarding this book three out of four stars. The formatting issue I mentioned above is the only reason why I couldn't give it a perfect rating. And considering the book's overall value, it definitely deserves more than two stars. I found only one grammatical error throughout the book, which would have been a remarkable feat had it not been for the formatting errors. I highly recommend this book to readers who wish to grow and sustain their faith in God through Christ, especially those who draw inspiration from other people's experiences.
