I like how the author has written a religious book that can also resonate with people of different faiths. I would love to learn the author's findings through his journey. Congrats to the author on BOTD!

An inspiring memoir cum life experience, lessons from Dale Lisi about God and life when he lost his arm when encountered a boat accident. The self-assessment in knowing the miseries of life is what he narrates in his book. Great review, That Reviewer. Thanks.

I love a religious book like this that exposes devil's strategies in bringing man to eternal condemnation through the flesh. Also, the respect for other beliefs and knowledge of God's word is great. I will love to read this book. Nice review.

This sounds informative. However, I am still wondering what the section about hard drugs is about. I guess I have to read the book to know more. Thanks for the amazing review.

I'd be delighted to learn how Lisa presents his book to suit both religious and irreligious folks. A book that balances the good and evil we face as humans will be worth the try.

Thank you for the thorough review. From the sample, I could tell the book was well written. But right now, it just isn't the book for me.

Everyone has a different take on religion, and I thoroughly enjoy listening to the opinions of others. Religion is not one-dimensional, and to see it through different perspectives is a refreshing experience. Thank you so much for the well-written and insightful review! I like that the author is uncompromising in sharing lessons from his faith while taking the utmost care not to disrespect people who believe differently or not at all.

I'd love to see the correlation Dale draws between his lost arm, God , and recovering his arm. This book sounds like contains a ton of wisdom.

Writing a book about one's interpretation of God can be a tricky subject to tackle, so kudos to the author for pulling this off without alienating readers of different beliefs. Believers and non-believers might view the book on different angles, but I guess the main takeaway from this is the triumph of man, no matter how flawed he is, over adversity and evil. Thanks for the review.
