This is not just an anxiety management book, but it's designed to help aspiring public speakers overcome anxiety that result from public speaking jobs. The subject sounds unique and enlightening. I can't help but grab a copy ASAP. Congratulations on being the BOTD.

The Fear Doctor by Vincent Stevenson is an amazing and educative book especially to those who have the plans of taking part in public speaking. From it, they will love how to overcome fear and anxiety, which is the most crucial thing while public speaking. Congratulations to the author on the BOTD. Great review!

As someone who is painfully introverted, I think I would benefit from reading this book. I have always been terrified of public speaking; I almost failed many of my classes because I opted not to do the presentation--often resulting in me losing a huge chunk of my course grade. I wish I had of had thos book while going to college. Thanks for the engaging review.

What a nicely written review! I am glad to see that the writing style is relaxing to read and that there are really helpful exercises included. I can definitely see your point that this book may be helpful in a variety of situations, not just straightforward public speaking. I am interested in this one!

Thank God, I've never had to sing a solo but I'm an awful public speaker. And, as you say, is something that we all have to face at one moment or another.
I love how you included your personal experience, it enriches your review very much. Thank you!

I was one of the lucky ones. I've been speaking in front of large groups since I was in the seventh grade, and never had anxiety about it. Perhaps It was because I knew I was in control. But I've met numerous people for whom even the thought of public speaking would make them hurl. Therefore, I'm glad the author has tackled this very important topic. Nice work on being awarded BOTD!

What a great review! I have had a lot of practice speaking in front of groups, so the fear of public speaking is not an issue for me. But I appreciate the psychology behind this book. My favorite part is when the boss tells you that some VIPs will be here in 30 minutes and they need an overview of the new project. Great review and great book!
