This book The Solution is Political Revolution is a non-fiction primarily based on the American economy. The current situation, challenges upfront and the possible consequences if steps are not taken fast enough. The author Jillion R. Rising has done a fabulous job helping the readers connect the dots understanding the never as high budget deficits, which leads to higher national debt, to which the only solution is quantitative easing. In the first few chapters, the focus is on making the readers aware how the wealthiest use the congress to make laws that benefit them at the cost of millions of Americans. The citizens of US need to unite leaving all their differences behind if they want the nation to go back on the way of prosperity once again. The author specifically provides with more than one examples to understand whether it is the republican party or the democratic party, all of them are the same when it comes to their personal gains and benefits. All of them have chosen in the past and without any doubt will choose their own personal gains over the American people. Continuing the ongoing theme of the book, next comes the private sector jobs, why and how they are important for the survival of a free market and how monopoly can be a really bad idea for the end users.

In the mid section of this book, it is written in detail how the corporate greed with the help of the federal government affects and worsens the life of Americans. With the very accurate example of the 2008 mortgage crisis, the author makes it very easy for anyone to understand that all of those corrupt and greedy corporations are fully backed up by the government itself. It gives them enormous confidence to work in a reckless manner because they know that no matter how bad the economic conditions would become, the government will surely bail them out. Other than that, this book also sheds light on the issue of immigration. It can be understood by reading this book that immigration itself is not the main problem, the main problem is the poor handling of those immigrants who are leaving their own lands and coming into this country with a hope to achieve all their dreams. These are the same people who does the tiresome and physical jobs with ease and helps the nation make more revenue as well.

It also touches the heated debate of today which is whether to support nationalism or to support globalism. It is a well known fact that America has been one of the major providers of weapons as well as war machines to the entire world. So, for the elites it does seem to pose some sort of a threat if people support nationalism which might impact their business that is fundamentally backed up by globalism. The topic to which many of the citizens are emotionally connected with is the american dream of owning a house. This book touches that aspect of the american lifestyle in a very meaningful way. That topic is discussed with emotional aspect as well as economic aspect. This kind of things make this book unique.

The author has highlighted almost every aspect from the time America became a free country to till date. The sequence is also admirable making it easy for the readers to cope up with the continuation of the book. I would without give this book a rating of 4 out of 4. Let me quickly explain myself for doing so. The book is flawlessly put together making it easy to go through, the content in itself is worth every second you would spend reading it. I would have definitely given 3 out of 4 if it were not for the importance given to little details and statistics that make this book a proof in itself for what is states in words.

As for recommending this book, I would simply say every adult who consciously want to know about the American economy and the potential future of it would be very delighted reading this book. This book will be of interest to everyone regardless of their age, gender, religious or political background.
