A book like this is something I would very much enjoy reading. Your enthusiastic and beautiful review has me hopeful that the book is just as wonderful. Thank you for your review. 😊

This is a very enticing review I must admit.
The moment Laura said she finished reading it the same day had me start counting how many days it takes me to finish just one book.
Indeed, a book that stays with you long after the last page has been turned deserves all stars. It's quiet unfortunate that this one did not get a full rating.

Haha. To be honest, the title took me aback to some extent. But glancing through your review captivated me. The book focusing on real people is good, we dont get that all the time. I mean if its not a hero it will be another issue. Thanks for a good review. Will be adding this to my shelf

This is an amazing motivational non-fiction self-help book that draws lessons from 60 short stories on the author's life along with that of her siblings, parents, and grandparents. The book is temporarily free on Amazon Kindle and has an awesome OnlineBookClub review.

It hurts when you have to take a star away from a wonderful book, for punctuation errors only... I like the approach of having multiple short stories. While the book is not my preferred genre, I look forward to sampling a few stories and possibly the entire book if I get carried away as much as the reviewer.

This review is an excellent testament to the author. You have brought such passion and care to a book that seems filled with morals and heart-wrenching stories. In a short story format, I feel there's a lot to learn.

Wow this review is filled with so many high praises that makes me want to read it. I usually don't reach all that often for a short stories collection but I am curious about this book. Maybe author can rectify the editing for future editions. I don't mind wrongly placed commas. Good job with the review.

While I am not a fan of this genre, I too have experienced the need to finish a book that has spoken to me. Great review.

The book is a collection of 60 short stories drawn from the lives of the author, her siblings, parents, and grandparents. These are not people you read about in the news. They aren’t celebrities you’ve seen in movies or on television. Yet, in their own right, they are heroes.
Sometimes seemingly common people can be the most extraordinary. I hope that the author fixes the editing mistakes because it seems like the book merits a great rating.
Thank you for such an enthusiastic review!

I have not read a book that is uniquely written like this one. The endearing aspect that it has towards the reader could not be more inviting!

In Put Comfortable Shoes in My Coffin, the author tells the story of an ordinary family in an authentic way. All voices should be heard.
