Burn Zones by Jorge P. Newbery is a book that narrates his life experiences and journey to success. He is drawn towards business and entrepreneurship at a young age and even lands his first job at seven years old. With a good work ethic and determination, he decides to abandon his studies and face the real world. This route takes him through a number of different professions and he eventually settles for entrepreneurship. Working tirelessly, he is able to build a successful business and amasses a lot of wealth. However, in the years that follow he is faced with numerous challenges and comes ever so close to bankruptcy. Despite this, he remains optimistic as he fights to save himself from imminent doom.

In the book, the author narrates about the betrayal and injustice he encounters through his career journey. While his success makes most people happy, it doesn’t fail to hurt others. In an attempt to stop his growing empire, these individuals hatch a plan to bring him down. However, amidst all the chaos and hardships his friends and family are there to support him. As time goes by he is forced to make a decision that will forever cement his legacy.

The author emphasizes a number of values and practices throughout the book. Hard work and perseverance are virtues that have proven priceless to him and he encourages the readers to emulate the same. Besides, the book also shows the importance of family and true friendship. The two are vital pieces in the puzzle of life. In general, the book provides great insight on ways to be successful. While most may envision a happy and fulfilling journey, it is in fact harsh and rather troublesome.

The book is well presented and lacks spelling and grammatical errors. Besides, the writing and story-telling skills of the author are unmatched ensuring an entertaining book that will keep you hooked from start to finish. Based on the above, I give the book 4 out of 4 stars.

In conclusion, this book would most suit people who are getting into different careers. No matter the type or nature of the job, full dedication and devotion to what you do will always pay off. However, despite being centered around careers and success, it also contains great life lessons that everyone can make use of. It is a great book that certainly won’t disappoint. Grab yourself a copy.

The book is a simple narrative of the author’s life and his experience, rather than a preachy “how-to guide” to instant success. Loved reading it. I really enjoyed your review. 🙂
