Thanks for the review, but even though the spiritual aspects sound good, I'm just not interested in reading a tributary biography.

I see that it's a Christian-based story. Sorry, definitely not for me. Thank you for clarifying the book's contents.

I'm not a believer so usually I put aside books that has something to do with religion. But this memoir is no doubt about a spectacular personality. It's intriguing to witness someone's overcoming the love of money and power.

The love of money and power is so deep in this generation that even father is ready to kill his children for it. This book is one of those, though with the help of God will help us to overcome it. What a nice and great novel to read.

Sounds very inspirational. I guess the jumping around different time periods didn't bother you too much since you still have it a 4. Thanks for your reviews.

The book sounds interesting and inspiring but I just finished three memoirs back to back. So I am thinking that maybe I should try this some other time... But congratulations on being selected as BOTD!

It sounds like you enjoyed the book a lot. Sharing ‘Chuckisms’ is a nice touch by the author.

An engaging story that details the author's remembrances of her life with her father is nicely presented in the book "King Here" by Trish Porter Topmiller. Nice thing is that it shows us how through a prayer and the mercy of God, we can sideline the love of money and power.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

It is a story of faith in God and an inspirational religious memoir that highlights paternal remembrance, faith and overcoming the love of money and the power.

The author's inclusion of "Chuckisms" aka quotes from her father was very creative. Also, it is fascinating how her father became a Christian despite the fact that he already had wealth, power, and a loving family - things that most people aspire to.

Thanks for your review.

I'm always appreciative when the author includes pictures so you can put a name to the face, at least in a memoir. I like, as well, that this will bolster your faith. Thanks.
