Bianka Walter wrote: 06 Jul 2019, 05:49 Kudos for picking this book even though you aren't a sports fan. I know nothing about football (except for the one that you guys call soccer), so I'm glad that you say it wouldn't be lost on me. As a dominant theme, it would be something that would turn me off reading this, but your wonderful review made my mind do a 180.
Thank you, Bianka. I appreciate your comment.

This sounds like a fully rounded look into someone’s life. I like a mix of laughter and tears. Great review.

Having also lived my entire life in a small town in the South, I loved your review. Thank you so much for including the quote that you did. Paula's attire and tongue lashing were hilarious!

Just like you, I am not a sports fan. It is noteworthy, though, that you enjoyed the book despite that. It must be a good one. Thanks for a fantastic review! :tiphat:

When I read the title of the book, it looks like there are topics about Halloween. How it started, even how the tradition grows. But, still need to find out. Hoping to read this book one day. Thanks for the review
