The lose of a loved one is painful, I can relate to that. It takes great courage for the author to talk about it. Great review.

This raw, emotional read appears like it would be a good resource for many who are hurting after losing a loved one to drugs or who has someone they are connected to struggling through addiction. Drug overdose is such a heartbreakingly large problem right now. I hope this book finds the people who would benefit the most from it. Thanks for your sensitive review.

As you put it, it comes across as a poignant tale dealing with the difficult issues of possible suicide in the family. I must commend the author for his steadfastness in telling his personal story. Quite a thorough review, thank you.

Rachel Lea wrote: 15 May 2019, 22:23 It's too bad about the editorial issues. Hopefully, the author can get them fixed, because this sounds like a book with a lot of good thoughts in it that I think people would benefit from hearing. Thank you for your review!
Despite the editorial issues, I think the book will encourage readers in the recommended audience. I appreciate your comment. :tiphat:

Ah, how do people have such vastly different lives? And how can life just be so unpredictable and random? This is a very difficult matter to deal with, and as such it must have been a really intense read. Thank you for your review, Cecilia! :D

This book sounds like quite an emotional ride, and I admire the author for attacking these subjects. Thanks for a very thorough review. I am putting this one on my list. Hopefully, I will get an edited copy, but I do want to read it.

I had a close family member commit suicide. Even though it was years back, I'm not sure I'd be ready for this book. It's good that there are books on the subject on the market now. I'm sure they help some people.

Thank you for a detailed review.
