My lizard is a crocodile. Getting up in the morning sometimes just doesn't happen.
This book sounds super interesting. I really enjoyed your review
Just had to tell you that your comment had me laughing out loud. Love it! And I can so relate.

I'm glad you were awake to read it

Discussing neuroscience is a feat in itself. From your review it seems that the authors have done a great job. I am intrigued about their discussion on ‘doshas’. Especially to look into the science behind it.
Homo sapiens are the planet's most advanced species. The authors should be commended for breaking down our different thought process and patterns and giving a road map on how to overcome a lot of behavioral challenges am sure we all face. Kudos to the authors and thanks for a very informative and educational review.
A self-help book advising how to achieve better mornings and enhance other aspects of life sounds motivating. Written by two doctors? No wonder that the book is well documented. Using scientific studies to support their arguments reflects well on them. The book sure seems to cover a lot of subjects, so it is good they made it easier to understand for the layperson. That is was well edited is another plus. I am a morning person myself, but I see how it can help night persons. Great review!

This is an educational non-fiction self help guide book to how human brains function during mornings, and attempting to use the knowledge positively. The book has a free sample on Amazon Kindle and has a fun and inciteful OnlineBookClub review. Congrats @mind_morning on the BOTD.
The Morning Mind is professionally produced and extremely well-written. The authors take a heavy subject matter (essentially neuroscience) and boil it down to a level that is understandable by the average person.

Fans of self-help books who are looking "to have a better understanding of how their brain and body work in concert together" will appreciate this book. It is well written and easy to understand. Unfortunately, this is not my genre, so I will pass on this one. Glad you found it useful and thank you for the detailed review!
I hope the book is as good as the review because just by reading the review I made a decision against my Lizard and I identify myself as the procrastinator for whom the book is meant.
Thank you very much indeed!
When I see scientific books like this I run away! I find them hard to follow and this is just not my genre. You wrote a great review and it sounds like the authors did a great job of breaking down a difficult subject. I will have to pass up this book though.

Your review is very compelling. Thank you. Getting up early in the morning is not really a big deal for me, I can do that but I would love to learn how to develop my wizard brain further. I'm glad this book helped you.
“Reading is escape, and the opposite of escape; it's a way to make contact with reality after a day of making things up, and it's a way of making contact with someone else's imagination after a day that's all too real.”
This sounds like a very informational book! This could be beneficial to those looking to better understand their brain to make beneficial changes to help their life. Congrats on the book of the day! Great Review.
