This is my first time of hearing about this group and the discotheque. I can imagine the joy and the unity it brought to people during those years.
Thanks for the through review and kudos to the author.

I enjoyed reading your review! I don’t believe this is my type of book, as it’s about disco parties. So, I’ll pass on this. Thanks for an explicit review!

I’m really looking forward to reading this. You're right: disco was, first and foremost, a place. But it’s the music and the culture that imprinted it in the lives of many. Great review!

It's great to know that this book brings back the memories of discotheques; however, this is not something I would enjoy. Thanks for the awesome review!

I would never have imagined that the birth of the discotheque would have been a remarkable story. I don't know anything about the 70s, and I don't frequent clubs, but it seems to be an informative and interesting book; I would like to read it. Thanks for the review.

Wow. That cover is gorgeous. And, I never knew that disco music and dance had such humble origins starting with the sincere efforts of a group of friends.

To be honest, I am not familiar with the topic explored in this novel. However, I must say I am intrigued by the history of discotheques, so I might read the book if I ever find myself wanting to dance to disco music.
Congratulations to the author for BOTD!

If there is anything I learnt from this book, it is what unity can do among friends. This is exemplified in the group of friends(TBOF) as they seek the expansion of disco music in New York City.

You are exactly right! The book is very nostalgic if you were around when discotheques took off! It was interesting to see what type of people frequented the clubs and the competition between the club owners. I loved the disco type dancing too. It was a unique time!
