Thank you for the great review. I'm glad to know the editing was great. I did enjoy the quotes. As I am a Christian, so mentioning the Holy Bible wouldn't bother me at all, but I'm glad to know that it includes different philosophies. I believe I will add this book to my list of ones to read. I think we all could use the world slowing down some, at least I know I could.

"Uplifted" by Susan Smith Jones is a self-help book taught from a holistic and natural standpoint. Susan writes books on achieving wellness by living a healthy lifestyle including exercise, a good diet, meditation, prayer and living a simplistic life. The book has three parts and each section shows ways to improve health and lifestyle. Susan covers stress in most of the book since stress can have such a devastating impact on one's quality of life. The self-diagnosis lists of questions is a great way to get the reader involved. This book is a must for all members. Very good review.

Self-help, self-growth, I am all for that, been trying to read my way into a healthy mental state for a bit now. I think what makes this book different is the interactive pages that draw a better picture of what to do. You can now see a healthy mental state is easier to obtain than you think and get assistance while doing it. The author shows care for her readers when those pages were included as part of the book.

A holistic and natural standpoint based self-help book "Uplifted" by Susan Smith Jones, which helps us in achieving wellness by exercise, a good diet, meditation, and prayer. This book appears beneficial to me.

Although I know this book will resonate with a big chunk of the masses seeking wellness, the genre is just not my cup of tea. Hence, I'll have to pass on this one. But congratulations on being listed as Book Of The Day.

This review is a great way for me to realize that I wouldn't enjoy this book. It has explained the book in detail and I am not a fan of self help books. I don't see anything unique that distinguishes this book from other self help books about stress management and wellness. And for those reasons, I'll pass.
