That's so thoughtful of the author to think out the best way to uplift people's spirits during such a precedented period.
Thanks for the awesome review.
Congrats to the author.

Interesting book. Indeed in stressful situations such as covid and lockdown, a good laugh can make everything better. I think it is a must have for people who like to have friends over and entertain them.

The cover throws me off, but I think I can get past it to what's inside. The idea of a well-researched book of jokes and funny songs has a certain appeal. And the age of the author is indeed impressive. I have to check this book out. Thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable review.

I recently read a book that emphasizes the effect of laughter on relieving stress and anxiety and I can't agree less with the author. I need this collection of jokes essentially when I'm down and need to relieve myself of the bustles of life. I wish to congratulate the author on being the #BOTD!

I can already see how people would look at me crazy when I laugh out loud when I start reading this book. I know I would have a swell time.

It has been a while since I've had a good chuckle. Reading through the Bawdy Jokes gave me a throw back to my childhood when I would hear jokes like these in the shows I watched and among my grandparents and their friends. Laughter definitely lightened the mood and always made for fun with friends. This definitely covered several decades of humor history and with examples. Congrats on BOTD!

Wow! jokes for 87 pages? I will like to check the book out. The review points out the mind of the writer and how he ended up writing this book.

I'm fascinated that an 85-year-old man could write a book that sounds this interesting. I look forward to reading it. Nice review.

The Covid-19 period produced a lot of interesting stories. This book of jokes and patter songs intrugues me. I'd like to know more about it. Thanks for the amazing review.

Doesn't really sound like my kind of book, so I think I will pass. Thank you for your review, though, and congratulations on Book of the Day once again!

This book is a relief from all the difficulties the world is facing right now and I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to laugh and be amused. I commend the author for coming up with this one with his intention to alleviate anger and fear and to make the world a more pleasant place through a light, funny novel.

Laughter is definitely great remedy to the mind, body and soul. I actually found myself laughing at some of the jokes told in the book. I am not one who is easily offended, so if a joke was not to my taste, I simply passed it over. I love that the author, even at his age, still possesses a superb sense of humor. Thanks for this great piece intended to bring smiles to readers' faces and congrats on making it to the BOTD.
