This travel memoir seems to contain a lot of adventures and stories about the author's journey through the seas around Africa. It seems to be a book about the life in the ocean, but also about love, family, and parenting. Congrats on BOTD to the author! Thanks for the review!

Sounds like it has a lot going on in it! The storyline though seems interesting enough. It’s nice that the author has simplified her writing. I wonder what adventures these families face on the dangerous Oceans in Africa. Congratulations on BOTD!

Tina Dreffin and her husband were living some unique life on the ocean with their two boys, this brings some fun and stories frightening situations. One day Tina family took a dagerous adventure when they took vacation with friends to visit sea at Africa. This was unusual because they went to the site which was too far to the medical assistant, this adventure unglued their family as the author was trying so hard to protect the boys. We may think Tina was a very brave woman to give a visit to the sea at this circumstances.

I think living on the ocean must be both amazing and terrifying. This memoir seems interesting, full of amazing adventures.

Tina seems to be enjoying life to the full, an inspiration to us all. She said she nearly died a couple of times. I can only imagine the thrill those challenges will ignite. This book will be definitely exciting.

A rather unusual memoir. It's good to know that even when dealing with issues such as sexual assault, the story maintains a positive tone. I like that the time jumps presented are easy to follow and that the narrative style allows you to relate to the story. It's definitely a book I would like to read. Thanks for this detailed review.

I have read this book and I enjoyed the adventurous journey by Tina and her family. They encounter strange things and thrilling moments. The sea is their home and the waves are their problems. I liked the jungle ride with Tina's family. Thanks for the review. Congrats on the BOTD!

After reading your review it makes me excited to read this book. I love an honest book that displays the bad and the good making it relatable to many. The sea has always been a scary things to me and I couldn’t imagine traveling without medical care present is needed. Knowing there is a cliffhanger at the end makes the book a must read.

Thank you for your wonderful review. I am glad that you enjoyed it so much. Even though it is easy to understand since I don't have an adventurous spirit I am going to pass on this one. I'm sure that many others will enjoy it though.

This is a great review of a great book. This story is sincere, moving, genuine, and flawlessly composed. What distinguishes it from other diaries is that it focuses on soo much more than the sea excursion. Tina expounds on themes like dysfunctional behavior, rape, the death of a child, and the difficulties of parenthood. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book; will definitely reread. Congratulations on a great review, to the author and the BOTD! Recommended for mature audiences!

Thank you for the great review! I love travel stories, and this sounds like a completely different take on it. Including background stories, like her assault, makes me think this may have been as much a cathartic experience as it is entertainment. Hopefully, there will be a sequel to appease your curiosity. :)

This sounds like a poignant travel memoir. I love that the author intersperses her life experiences with the journey of her walkabout. I’d love to vicariously travel with her in this book. Thanks for the great review!
