Hi! I agree with you. I found that since nothing happened beyond talking about previous relationships and BDSM (without vivid descriptions) it does not count. Please note that I am a fellow reviewer not on the "advanced team" that is in charge of determining if a book review can be published or not so you might want to double-check other people's opinions.

There were no explicit scenes. Adam only paints slight descriptions of sexual encounters. There are no intense or explicit scenes.

To me there are no explicit scenes in the story. There was some discussion about bdsm, but that's just conversational not explicit. The book was mostly focused on romance as I see.

I took the choking as technically explicit because in its use, it's purely sexual. However, since the whole scene wasn't described in any sexy way or anything, it could be seen as borderline. The shower stuff was so vague that I don't count it.

I did not find any explicit scenes in the book. Of course I could tell when a steamy session was happening but as to what exactly went down, the reader had to fill in the blanks. I got hints of BDSM when there was mention of choking concerns from Sinead but nothing was detailed.

I did not come across any explicit scenes. There are several mentions of BDSM-related content and implications of sex but the author does not give enough details to characterize the scenes as explicit. I think the vagueness work for the book's benefit because it creates a sense of romance and intrigue.

I think the sexual content is mostly implied rather than described explicitly. I was aware of characters being intimate or alluding to sexual things but the author did not give enough details to make it explicit.

I appreciate the fact that sexual description was kept to the barest minimum. I encountered no explicit scenes as well. This is a big plus.

In my opinion, the book does not contain explicit sexual content. There was a little romance, sex was hinted but nothing graphic or explicit.

I didn’t take anything to be explicit. The author was vague when it came to romance. If it was explicit , I think it would be a totally different story if it was explicit. But readers are different as the way they interpret things while reading through a story.

A detailed description of the sexual scenes is what I'll consider explicit. The author obviously avoided that by mentioning a few sexual acts in general terms without giving much details. So in my view, there were no explicit scenes in the book.

I do think that the mention of BDSM is explicit, but it wasn't super sexually explicit for me because it was only described and not written as a plot.

I think there were no explicit scenes. Franky, I am grateful that it was left to the reader's imagination. It was clear they were intimate, but there were no details and that was fine with me I think it would have limited the audience. I really liked this book and can't wait for the next one.

There were no explicit scenes, even though there were some scenes like BDSM, but the author never described that kind of thing in detail.

Definitely just mentioning of BDSM. But other than that, nothing explicit.
