As stuffy as a person is, I don't know how anyone can say that there are explicit scenes in this book. The total focus is on light, romantic scenes. When there's any mention of something more extreme like BDSM, there's only a brief discussion.

No explicit scenes.
Just a few references to practices of an explicit nature.
But, perhaps even that is explicit for some.

Erotic scenes are inevitable in a book of this nature but I personally didn't think the author went too far detailing it. The book simply described the romance between Gary and Mitchel which is very normal for me.

In agreement. This book is a romantic science fiction thriller, it had no place for explicity. Even its romance was brief. And the only thing you can call explict were only a subject of discusion between best friends.
There is no point in trying to please a person who doesn't apreciate me. Besides, why do I have to try and please anyone in the first place?

I agree with you, I can't say I found any scene to be explicit. There was a conversation about bdsm, but it was not descriptive. Things were happening but not intense enough to qualify as explicit.

It wasn't explicit so I don't think that could restrict readers of a certain age to not read the book.

I woudn't say there were explicit scenes, but there were mentions of sex act and sex description

I think that was the author's intention. The story needed a gentle reprieve. The author probably just wanted to, "mention and let the reader's thoughts run wild."

There are romantic scenes. Most of them are only suggestive but not explicit. Also, I agree that it mentioned BDSM but was not detailed.

I don't think there is anything explicit in this book at all. Of course there are instances where mature stuff are mentioned but I don't think they fit in the explicit scenes category. There is some slight romance though.

It's been a while since I have read this book but I can tell you that I didn't come across any explicit sexual scenes. There were only these few instances of sexual never, but explicit they were not.

There weren't really any explicit scenes. They were more romantic and rather vague. Aside from the little mentioning of BDSM and other topics.

I agree with you. I think there were no explicit scenes in this book; there were only light erotic contents. Most details were left for the reader to fill out.

For me the narration of the couple of sex scenes and the romantic gestures were perfectly fine and I do not find those to be excessive. One would argue that those scenes need to be included for a story like this one.

The BDSM or choking mentioned by Sinead and also the romance between Michelle and Gary isn't enough to create vivid image of explicit sexual scenes on the reader.
