It is one of the most interesting books that I had gone through during my college days.

I read this book in high school. I was indeed amazed someone could accomplish traveling the world with simple means. I got to appreciate technology of today more and more.

This was, and still is amazing, and a great favorite. It was intriguing to think that one can travel the world in eighty days in those days .It was a thriller that kept me reading till late, hiding from my mother. The adventure and commitment to actually achieve this was a deal breaker. I enjoy the film version till this day.

I loved reading Around the World in Eighty Days. Having watched the film and one of the series first, I was worried that I was going to be disappointed, but the book was even better than I could have hoped. The characters are so well written and the story is timeless. With plenty of excitement and suspense, it is the perfect adventure story. I can't wait to read some more of Jules Vernes novels as he is such a wonderful writer.
