The Works of Richard Wright

Post by Fandmchick »

I have a hard time deciding which Richard Wright book I love more, Black Boy or Native Son. While Richard Wright wrote many incredible works that push the boundaries of the social mind, I can't help but be in awe of the many themes running throughout Black Boy and Native Son. Each time I read these two books I pull new information out of the text. Wright's work speaks volumes and continues to remain applicable to life today. His writing provides comfort, understanding, and an outlet for generations of readers struggling to comprehend United States race relations.
