"The Story of My Life" by Helen Keller
Before Helen Keller died on June 1, 1968, she became a public speaker and author. "The Story of My Life" was published in 1902. Helen was a fundraiser for the American Foundation for the Blind as well as an advocate for racial and sexual equality. At age 87, she had become an inspiration to the world and helped to alter perceptions about the disabled.
There are many wonderful biographies on Annie Sullivan and Helen Keller.

I heard that too, and think that is a bad decision. I have her book in my shelves 4/4 rating.Chandler_Greg wrote: โ22 Sep 2018, 21:25 Just read that Texas has decided to drop Helen Keller from their school curriculum. It's suppose to save them about 40 minutes of instructional time, which will probably be used for more standardized test prep. Thoughts?
