This was one of the most inspiring and touching books that I have ever read. I borrowed it to a friend and then it was lost. I really felt unhappy about that.

I have not read it, but I would like to. Thanks for drawing my attention to the book. I have always admired Helen Keller becuase she had to overcome so much. Her teacher, Anne was also wonderful to her. Helen is a true inspiration.

A nice recommendation to all those who despise their humble beginnings, complain too much and choose to get stuck in adversity. The message is clear and to the point:Get started ,Never give up,It is possible no matter the prevailing adversity .

Yes The Story of My Life was absolutely inspiring...with a lot of innocence and exquisiteness. It was well written as well. That too at the young age of 23.

I read and extract from it a few years ago and Hellen's reaction to knowing water for the first time still touches my heart.
