I believe it is possible, mothers tend to love their children deeply. The author grew up with motherly love and care. I can see the mother giving him extra attention because he was the youngest.

The author had a valid respect for his mother. His mother strived hard to make him what he is.

I believe the mother had a similar love for other people. However, the author is writing from his perspective because this is his memoir. Which is exactly how he personally perceived her behaviors and feelings.

This is funny. Well, some families are like that of Dr Ghoulem. I can also remember my mother checking on my brother who sleeps alone those days.

Mothers are amazing people. Their feelings are incomparable. I believe his mother demonstrated her love for his siblings in other ways.

I noticed nothing wrong with his description of that relationship. As you rightly point out, it was his memoir, and that was his focus. Maybe when writing about his mother, he would have pointed out his relationship with others.

The love of a mother for her children can’t be measured. Parents often tend to have a favor child, so I would assume he was his mothers favorite child. This could have happened due to his relationship with his mother.

Well this was a memoir that focuses on Dr Ghoulem so he will major his life. I bet his siblings experienced the same love. I can't doubt it though.

His mother came out as a really kind and devoted woman. She might be extra watchful of him now that his brothers have died. They appear to be really close friends. He obviously had a great love for his mother.

I think the author is embellishing a little based on the things that seemed important to him when he was growing up as it seems a little over the top to me.

He saw only his relationship., not his siblings. Hard to explain . His mother seemed to be very caring but then again we only see it from his point of view.

The author only seemed to pay attention to his own connection with others, neglecting the importance of his relationship with his siblings. It is difficult to fully describe the situation, but from his perspective, his mother appeared to be quite attentive and loving. However, it's essential to consider that this viewpoint is limited and may not encompass the entire reality.
