Thanks for the review. Clever storyline. I have heard that real life investigations often reveal surprising coincidences. It is strange and scary to think of what could happen if someone you have reason to hate becomes a murder victim.

I hope this book becomes free on BOTD. I am eager to laugh and cry (and kill?) with Ellie. Buying chocolates for another woman is the height of infidelity! I could kill for that, haha.

Thanks for this totally enjoyable review!

Ellie was a fascinating character. I enjoyed her story. I hope you will get a chance to read about her other antics. Loading the truck was only the beginning! Thanks for stopping by!

I agree. It's scary when the one you hate turns up dead. That's what happened to Ellie. You will have to read the book to find out what happens to her! Thanks for stopping by.

Quirky mystery and female friendship? (And as others pointed out- with a great title?!) Yes please!

Thanks for the review. :)

If she can prove her innocence, will she fertilize the suspicion already directed towards her daughter? Can Ellie and Trish cultivate their investigative skills to thin out some of the suspects?
I love the little plays on words in your review! I'm thinking this book will turnip in my book collection; I love gardening and mysteries.
I am back! 4 months after radiation treatments and still cancer-free!

I really love books centered around crime, mystery and romance. This book looks like what I would want to read especially with the touch of humor as written in the review.
