I am definitely adding this to my list of must-read books! The combination of sci-fi, adventure, romance and great character development is right up my alley. I am also a fan of Indiana Jones so I agree that this could be a part of that series. Thanks for the great review! You piqued my interest without giving away any important aspects of the book

So it is a sci fi mystery? Is the main focus aliens or the missing scientists or both? And I'm glad to hear romance was not a main focus.
Not sure if I would read this or not.

The review really made me curious about this secret thing and why were the two scientists captured. Sounds like the premise of a good book!

An archaeology novel with mystery and intrigue sounds like something I would like. Besides, you have piqued my interest in the mysterious "It." Thanks for the great review.

I keep wondering what "it" is. It sounds like a great read. Especially since there's a little bit of romance tossed in.
Thanks for the review.

I'm curious to find out what did Alisa Bellsong find in those Nazca ruins. This seems like an adventurous and engaging tale. I'll check out the sample. Thank you for this well-written review.

I'm not a sci-fi fan, but it sounds like the plot to this book might be more intriguing than most if you enjoyed it!

What a great overall view of the book. Thank you for sharing your insights. I also thought that this was an alien story, but that was even before I read the prologue. It's good to know that it's just a background for what to come since I don't really enjoy alien book. :D

I thought this was going to be a scifi book. I was completely thrilled that while I enjoy the scifi genre, this was so much more. The characters are relatable to the point I was lost in the story from the beginning. Great review and Congrats on the #BOTD
