While a terrorist attack is certainly not an original idea, the motive, planning and execution of this one was quite ingenious. Thanks for commenting.

Thank you for your review. The Date Farm sounds like a great thriller and somewhat realistic. I do not usually read these plot-types (if that makes sense), but I could start with this one. I hope there is a re-edited version to address the typographic and wrong word errors you mentioned. Thank you for the recommendation.

I just finished reading this book, and truly enjoyed it. I can't seem to get enough of Lara and Uri. Winnick is an excellent writer of political intrigue. I agreed with all of your review, except for the errors you noted. I think they must have been fixed now. The realism of the action is very well done, as well as the descriptions in the settings.

I like international thrillers and I can't wait to read the story of Uri and Lara, who I first read in the first book "East Wind". I like the fast-paced writing style of the author too. Thanks for your review.

I had to check out the only review that rated this book a 3 out of 4! All points are quite valid as I also noticed the unnecessary hyphenations. However, excluding the errors, the tale sounds exciting and captivating! Jack Winnick really fleshed out the characters and ensured there were no dull points in action. A great read indeed, and a great review to support it, thanks!

I am forever a faithful fan of mystery and thriller to top it of with action again? You had me a long time now. Although I am not excited about the Islamic extremist aspect but I really want to know what the author showed us about them

I Just finished “The Date Farm”. My first introduction to the Lara and Uri series. I agree with the 3 out 4 rating. I found some of the word usage odd and I also had to keep notes to distinguish between Miles and Mike. I plan on going back to the beginning to read East Wind.
