Thanks for the review!

Thank you. :tiphat: It’s good to be back. Job hunting eats time. It was nice to be able to read a book over Christmas. :techie-studyingbrown:

The premise is quite interesting. It's amazing that the book is written by teenager.

Thank you for the insightful review.

Having thoroughly enjoyed the 80s retro nature of Stranger Things, I think the premise of this book sounds amazing. The theme of someone being gay as a window where everyone knows it but them and the resulting angst sounds rather 80s too. I guess some things don't change that quickly! Thanks for an interesting review.

Thank you. It was funny how all his friend's kept rolling their eyes and saying "it’s 2017!”

Reading has been and always will be such an important part of my life. I am delighted to see a novel geared toward the young adult readers. The synopsis, however, seems terrifying for such young minds. I agree with previous posters in that the young author should be quite proud of her accomplishments.

Ah, that was mentioned in the book. Not having seen the film I don’t know how independent this book is or whether it’s fam fiction. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for another insightful review! I liked your point about the author focusing too much on the character's sexuality, rather than on the fact that his friends were dropping dead. Sometimes the concept of a story can be good, but the themes aren't juggled well.

I think this happens a lot in books, particularly mysteries. For example, an author will emphasize a romance too much and it takes away from the mystery.

I love mystery stories especially with the way you just narrated this story (I. e recorded video tapes of future deaths). Thanks for the wonderful review.
