A cozy mystery revolving around murder in a quaint resort sounds intriguing. The setting sounds unique. Hopefully, those minor errors were fixed by now. Too bad about the plot holes. The engaging plot should make up for it, though. Thank you for the review!

Awesome review! Super insightful, quick, and straight to the point - loved it! Keep up the great work! Today's BOTD sounds like one I will enjoy, since I love mysteries. I'm not a huge romance fan, but since it clearly helps move the plot along - and b/c there are no explicit scenes - I'm definitely in! I've added this to my WTR list...sounds like a keeper! Thanks so much! :-)

Paint her dead by Wanda Shelton
Following the story line I was thinking it would be more gruesome for leah..but I guess it was more like solving a murder case which is also interesting.. Captivating storyline [amazon=][[/i][/amazon]

There seems to be a lot going on in this plot! I read the opening pages and then your review, and it seems that this author has put together quite the storyline. I love the title and that the main character was going to a paint workshop. Sounds like a good one!

I've enjoyed my share of murder mysteries. However, hearing that the main character is stalked by her ex and that she's attracted to a married man started to turn me off of this book. Since it has light romance and those are the two options, I don't think this is something I would really enjoy.

Based on the review this isn't a book that I would enjoy reading. I dislike reading murder mysteries. I also dislike books with religious content/beliefs in the story. I will pass on reading this book.

I was hooked after your first paragraph! This sounds like an intriguing mystery and I think I could overlook the religious elements to enjoy it. Thanks for your review.

The author may have made quite a few errors in writing this book. But that doesn't make me want to read it any less, as I like the plot and is interested by it very much. So, thanks for your thorough and honest review!

An engaging, suspenseful read with action and romance thrown in. It has a pleasant writing style and well-developed, believable characters! I love this genre, so I've just added this book to my TBR list! Thank you for the detailed review! :tiphat:

From the review, it sounds like a light mystery for a weekend read at the beach. I'm on spring break so I think i'm fine it a try.

I like the way you summarised the book in this review. With a title like “Paint Her Dead” I’d expect it to be quite exciting and intense. However I have to admit the grammar errors in the free sample I read detracted from it somewhat, and the narrative voice isn’t the type that draws me in.

It seems like an artistic plot as it revolves around an artist, an art thief, and the art workshop. The masterful strokes of the author paint this novel in an engaging color.

Romance and murder! It seems to be a thrilling and a chilling story, but not my cup of tea.
