What a great review, It sounds like a good trilogy to read, I am glad that you advise to read all three books, as sometimes books in a trilogy can stand alone and be read individually, I also like that you put a warning in with regards to explicit content. Forearmed is to be forewarned!

I haven't read any of the books in this series but I'm intrigued. It is good to know that you have read the series in order so as to understand the whole plot line and context of the novels. Sometimes the premise of a sexually disturbed woman tends to be a bit overdone, but hopefully with this series that will not be the case. Thanks for the great and comprehensive review.
Give me the courage to get through this week...or at least a big bar of chocolate :D

Its seems I'll love reading this book. I will try to add it to my 'want to read shelve'. Though It sound like itsnot my perfect genre.
But all in all, this review earn my interest in reading this book.

So much praise!!! It was really refreshing to hear about a good book. I can understand that you seriously dig it. I want to read this book now but I should probably start with the first book to thoroughly enjoy the series. Your review of the book reminds me of another one I read years ago. If you like this genre of book you should check it out. It’s called Comfort Food by Kitty Thomas. It deals with Stockholm syndrome and the conditioning techniques of captors. Thank you for the wonderful and thorough review.

It is rare to find thrillers that hold my attention. This seems like an ideal series to check out.

It sounds like a movie adaptation would equally be great. Reminds me of the movie, "The Girl on the Train".

Thanks for this great review.

I really enjoy reading good trilogies and series. This sounds like a very good one! I appreciate your putting a bit of the history of the other two books in your review so that we could see what type of books these are. Although I like crime mysteries and psychological thrillers, I think I will pass on this one because it seems to be quite graphic. Thanks for the review!
