I've always liked historical fiction but I haven't really had the time to delve into it so this book will be another way to do that. The book really does sound quite captivating with different historical events and friends who have their own separate and intriguing individual lives but are a part of something bigger due to which their stories intertwine. At least that's what it sounds like to me. Your review really shows that you enjoyed it. Great work!
That's true. The way the book was written helped me to have a better understanding regarding the timeline of historical events in different countries. I appreciate your comment.

I love crime thrillers and it is awesome to get a taste of different decades. I love different perspectives and the 1920s mobster and cop feel is iconic. Thanks for bringing my attention to this book.

Thanks for another insightful review! I like that the historical scenes are fast-paced because this genre sometimes can get bogged down with too many historical details. I'm off to read the sample!

A joke is to entertain people. If it fails to do so, it's something else!

The author unveils good orientation of the plot to the reader that makes it interesting, especially the courageous Abby. The best part of it is the success of every actor. This crime thriller is good.

The title of the book is what brought me to this review. And reading part of the plot has put the interest of the book in me.

Wow, this book sounds really awesome. I usually don't like historical type novels but this one seems to have a ton of original ideas around the historical connections. I may have to read this one soon. Thanks for the well-written review.

Abby and her friends have a strong heart. I say this because it's not all that experience a trauma that can move on easily. And also being a journalist will help her to write about her story...
