I don't read thrillers too much, but your review has grabbed me. It sounds like the character development is the strong suit of this book. That is so difficult to do as a writer and so important to the reader's experience. And this author even gave strong attention to minor characters. I think I would like this book. Your review is comprehensive, and I really enjoyed reading it. Thank you.teacherjh wrote: ↑18 Jul 2018, 20:36 The character development though was the highlight of the book for me. Zellie Forester was my favorite. She is a deaf woman with a cochlear implant who discovers that she has an empathic sense about people when she turns the implant off. She is driven to find out the truth about Desai’s disappearance and fearlessly pursues it. Even minor characters are given quirky personalities and enough back-story for the reader to feel a connection to them.

I can't imagine a millatary who was supposed to war against the enemy of the country was now hired by a bloody religious organisations.
What a story line I love.
The three story lines are awesome
This is the kind of criminal book I love to read because as I was reading it, it look so real to Me.
