I'm sure I will. You made it sound so interesting, and the ocean itself is a mystery and this book is a mystery. I think both go hand in hand.

The story seems to have a twist and most probably has a unique plot based on the official review. I love reading mystery and crime stories since I am working in the legal field and would want to gain more knowledge as possible to help others stuck in such drastic situations. Hence, I'm about to add this book into my shelves, get a cup of coffee and start reading the same.
Thank you! I was so impressed with this book. Hope you enjoy it as well.

This seems like a relaxing easy read on a Sunday morning. Not all mysteries have to have blood, gore, and shootouts. I love writers who are painters. Something I strive to be. Thanks for the review. I'll share it.

You got me with the beginning, I need to know this character. This gives me Gone Girl and The Girl on the Train vibes. I can't wait to see how this tale unfolds. Its exciting to add books to my reading list, it gives me more motivation to read.

Have you ever experienced that moment when you open a book, read the prologue and then feel your body relax because you can tell that you have found something rare? You know that you are about to spend hours enjoying it. This is how I felt after reading the first few pages of Hidden Depths by Ilene Birkwood. We are introduced to a woman who has evidently just dumped a body at sea, and this occurrence is described as “the familiar routine.” From the get-go, readers will want to know more about this mysterious woman. Did she murder someone? How many times has she done this, and if it is a regular routine, who is next? Is this even a real event or the imaginings of a man who has too much time on his hands?
I can totally relate to that feeling! Great opening for a review!
This seems like an amazing and engaging thriller and you definitely managed to hook me. I'm such a big fan of good thrillers!
It's great that the author manages to also touch the subject of abuse, it really takes talent and sensibility to touch important social issues while keeping a book entertaining at the same time.
Great review, thanks, this one goes straight to my to-read shelf!

With such a complex situation the main character was in, who wouldn't feel uneasy? A failed relationship is already too bad. Being blamed for someone else's demise takes it on a greater level. I'd rather not think further of these things at this point, and yet this piece should appeal to fans of its genre as it seems. Thank you for your superb review.

You describe this book as an interesting mystery of Kelly's missing husband, Steve. The complex story, shocking revelations, and good visuals all sound very interesting.
