Charles Benson is dead, and he thinks that someone murdered him. He cannot believe that he died, as he was a healthy guy. One minute, he was fine, and the next minute, he found himself dead. Suddenly, he heard someone talking to him. He turned around and saw a slight shimmer in front of him. The shimmer said her name was Lizzie, and she started flirting with Charles. Charles explained to Lizzie that he had been murdered, and that he wanted to find out who the murderer was and why they would want to kill him. Lizzie agreed to help Charles find his murderer, and the two became quite a pair.

There are many ghosts in the story, and some of them are not very nice. Malice is an evil spirit, and some say that he is the worst ever! He does some pretty horrible things in the story. There are a lot of tidbits about ghosts that you learn in the book. Ghosts can change the room's temperature by moving heat.

The Ghost Detectives is filled with humor, and the writing by Townsend flows with ease across the pages. There are many twists and turns in the book, and a surprise ending. Some are predictable, and some are not. If you are a fan of murder mysteries, you will enjoy this book. I did not find anything to dislike about The Ghost Detectives. It brought a little levity to my life as I read it. The book was professionally edited, as I did not find any errors. There is some romance and sexual content in the story, so those who are sensitive to that subject should be warned. I did not come across any profanity. I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. This is a fantastic little story that is pleasing to read, and I am sure you will enjoy it.
