You did it again, Helen! Sonny and I should meet very soon. Alan Blank is looking better with every book. In the first book, he filed a case for identity theft. Here, he is beaten up on his birthday. I wonder if he can match his bizarre experiences to all the forthcoming books. The plot thickens.

He certainly leads an exciting life. His books are good too.

Thank you for the helpful review. I like your description of the book. It contains elements that make for a good read, an interesting main character, resonance with the classic age of detective novels, and humor. The main character reminds me a little of Renee Pawlish's Reed Ferguson.
