I'm not super into romance stories since I tend to feel that they detract from the knitty-gritty elements of suspense novels, but this book sounds good enough to ignore that bias! I love historical mysteries, especially ones that are set in different eras, so this sounds like a great read. I'm adding it to my bookshelf now!

Everything sounds good about the plot, except for the past lives sub-theme - that just makes everything seem implausible.

I got so excited reading your post! because I like to read stories about "Leonardo daVinci" his paintings also fascinates me. I had the opportunity to see some of his paintings, at one of the museum in Rome. I have recently read a book "Castle of Whispers by Elizabeth Penney" the story setting was "Castello di Donati, Pointe San Vincente, Italy. da Vinci was actually in the story. So I have this feeling that I would enjoy reading "The Girl Who Knew da Vinci by Belle Ami" where a painting is missing, and cannot be found strange enough to say it is "paranormal" but those things do happen. I believe the book is fictional but not a thriller, I guess things go missing and no one to be blamed, is not enough to call it a thriller, maybe there is more, and the only way to find out is to read the book. Great review.

I love it when a book hooks me within the first chapter. I also love the concept of multiple past lives reuniting. Whether or not you believe in past lives is relevant. It's all fiction, and the idea is deeply romantic. I'm reminded of the movie Dead Again starring Kenneth Branagh and Emma Thompson. If you haven't seen it, I recommend it. I'm also a fan of Dan Brown's books, so this seems like one I would thoroughly enjoy.

It definitely sounds like an interesting read. A mysterious painting and a brewing romance are elements that draw me to the book. I am intrigued and would want to read to see what more lies in the book. This is a nice review of the book.

A thrilling blend of mystery, history, and romance. The characters give such life to the story, you'll feel like part of the action. Well written...

Romance, mystery, intrigue, paranormal activity, and engaging literature is my favorite kind. Another must read for me...in fact, I already have it downloaded.
