Grab a cup of coffee/tea and enjoy both, the story and the drink, while reading. :D

kandscreeley wrote: 08 May 2018, 12:51 Oooh! Interesting. So not really a typical murder mystery per se, but more of a more questioning. That sounds really interesting to me. It's too bad about the editing errors, but they seem easy enough to overlook. Thanks.
Kandscreeley took the words out of my mouth (or hands)! Either way, thank you for the comprehensive review, and it is a pity about the editing errors. It does sound like a really great read, and I am really tempted to pick it up!

Sounds intriguing. I love how the main character is named after a flower :). The problems you mentioned, however, would be enough for me to stay away from this book for now. Pacing is an important factor to me, and the explicit scenes are not really my cup of tea either. Still, thanks for sharing your candid thoughts on this book.

I don't normally like crime novels but this book seems less like a blockbuster and more like a reflective piece of work so I might try it. Thanks for the review.

Great review! I would break the rules to do the right right. Law is made to bring balance to our society. But sometimes these laws become shakles.

It isn't a blockbuster at all. Pick it up and read it. You won't regret it.

Thanks for your honest answer. Indeed, some laws are not helpful at all.
