Thanks for a detailed and well-written review! I do read the occasional medical thriller and this one certainly sounds worthwhile and nicely put-together. Questions of medical ethics and their side-effects are always intriguing. I will have to add it to my bookshelves.

For me it is always nice to get out of my comfort zone. Reading this medical thriller did this for me. I liked the fact that the author made me rethink the doctor-patient relationship, issues related to hospital funding or as you said, questions of medical ethics. Thank you for reading!

Books of this nature contains technical words mostly on medicine that are difficult to understand. I hope the words are within the comprehension of an average reader. Thanks for the review.

I can assure you the author is not interested in exhibiting his medical jargon. On the contrary, he wants to make things easy and accessible to ordinary readers. I could learn and understand medical issues without making any tremendous effort to do so.

The topics are mostly about medicine and I just love it because I want to be a doctor someday

The medical issues could certainly help you understand a number of useful things, but there is much more to this book than mere technical elements. On the contrary, psychological analysis, action and suspense all add up to a well-thought-out storyline.

I've never been keen on reading books involving medicine because I'm afraid they might be too technical for me. But thanks to your review I might check out this book. The characters seem to be interesting, and I'm also curious about the Runt Syndrome.

Thanks again for this review.

This is definitely not so technical. The author mainly wants to send a message against lack of tolerance, prejudice and misconceptions.

I love medical thriller book...but i don't like rovert ludlows behaviour...his behaviour is not well towards his physically disabled child...genetic anomalies account for a large proportion of spontaneous pregnancy and childhood disability...i am waiting to see what happens to all three of the children. ..

Prejudice and misconceptions are exactly the things the author fights against. Besides, any normal parents should love their children unconditionally. The three children in the novel have such different paths in life, yet destiny brings them together once again and their meeting has unforeseeable consequences.
