:o This book brings a lot of drama, tension and uncertainties as main acters are strugging with complicated crime case. Jen Connors's life reflects very realistic situation in one's career. The book has dynamics, I could easily see main characters in a movie as I read through book chapters. A lot of details in crime scene are carefully constructed, I liked the part with analysis of ballistic data and crime scene as well thought and ordered in logical fashion.

I'm not sure about the plot itself, but I do like that it's NOT predictible and, even better, that the cliche romance is missing... Thanks so much for the review!

I love crime dramas, and the book from the perspective of the mob family and the police going back and forth was already a treat!

I love crime thrillers and based on the review, this book sounds like a must read. The story sounds like it has many twists and turns and keeps the reader guessing. Thanks for the great review and congrats to the author for BOTD.

I really enjoy books that have well-developed characters and are character driven, although I don´t know if I´ll get lost with so many characters.
I also like that it´s realistic and not predictable because many thrillers fail in that.
Thanks for your review!

Good that all the characters feel real, but too many can make it difficult to keep track of everyone and can make things confusing.thanks

It is seldom that a man and woman tandem in mystery books do not develop a romantic relationship while in a mission, so this novel seemed refreshing and interesting.

Yes! White Night is a relatable book because it reminded of some episodes of law and order where there personal life kinda of reflected on their ability to solve crime. I feel most detective characters are always challenged with a physical disability that test their skills in maintaining order.

Characters are one of, if not the, most important thing to me in a book. I'm not usually into crime novels, but this one sounds like it could be very good. Great review!

Although this story has a great story line - a determined protagonist readers would be rooting for faced with a touch case and partner, I am just not into crime stories. I added to my not interested in reading shelf.

I greatly enjoyed your review. I think that having a break from romance will be quite refreshing and character development is something that I find interesting. I will put this book on my to read bookshelf. Thank you so very much for writing this review.
