Intrigued by your review but the book sounds a bit too dark for my liking.

I read this book, or tried to at least. I didn't care for it. I stopped reading after only a few pages because I couldn't get into - whatever it was. I won't say more except that I just didn't care for how it was written. The sex and other adult subject matter didn't bother me in the least. It was the story itself. This is just my own opinion. Please, read it for yourself to form your own opinion. Cheers.

Amazing book about growing black man among people who don’t respect and value the others for their achievements. Surroundings see only the colour of his skin and they make conclusions only on an appearance. The main character is black. And he does his best to prove everyone, that the colour of skin is not important. It’s a very inspiring book. You will look at your live by a new glance. I will advise you to read this incredible book
