There is good books, amazing books, and books like Twisted threads which blew my mind from the moment i start switching pages, this novel is a mystery/romance thriller the main scenario is a cruise in the Caribbean with a lot of particular passengers, Akira, is one of them, a gorgeous Japanese girl who is a high paid assassin against her will, and she must travel on this cruise to take revenge for the dead of her boss’s sister who was murdered by an apparently normal English couple, She uses her charm to attract Devon, who is related to her possible victims, while finding out who really killed her boss's sister, slowly they will fall into a labyrinth of fleeting encounters, intense kisses, that wrap you in the story and you never want it to end, it makes you wonder if Akira will achieve what they proposed to her, if she could take revenge of this death and continue with her life?, what if all this sudden love for Devon actually ends to be truth, and that can destroy her plans and why not even her future.

One of the things I liked the most was even if you have not read the previous books from the beginning, you can read it separately and it can be understood perfectly, that is quite difficult to achieve, but if you read it from the book 1 you will enjoy a lot more the story, because of all the connections and backgrounds.

The book is narrated from the point of view of each character, for me this is one of the best ways to tell a story, since you can immerse yourself much more in the characters and see what they are thinking and feeling when they are alone, how is their develop throughout the book and even as certain things are changing within them, which make you connect much more with the story

The character of Akira reminded me a lot of O-Ren in the movie Kill Bill, one of my favorite characters in the movie, in terms of writing the book is very well finished, and very well developed Its written in a seductive way that will attract readers who love drama and action as much as romance and mystery

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars, because it caught my attention since the very beginning and i did not get bored, or wanted to stop reading not even once, it was always entertaining and intriguing, and i fell in love with the couple of Devon and Akira, plus I didn’t find a single typo which means it was edited in a really professional wa, I hope you enjoy this book as much as i did.
