this sounds like a must-read! You're right about the corruption point with fame and fortune! Guess it's a good thing I don't have to worry about either of those... Great one..

I agree! Although, it's frustrating to be so mad that you have to walk away, too! :) You want to keep reading, but you're too made to keep reading. Such a conundrum.

This book is in my favorite genre, and the fact that it's actually shorter, makes me want to read it. I usually do prefer the faster paced books, but when the story is captivating, I don't mind a slower going if it's short.

I love when a book can invoke such emotions in the reader! This sounds like it would be the perfect book for me to take with me on my vacation.
