a medical thriller revolving around the cutthroat world of medical research sounds intriguing two scientists are trying to find a cure for Alzheimer’s disease. The first one to find it can win the Nobel prize Eric Prescott a leading scientist will do anything to be the first in their field the big question is HOW FAR WILL HE GO??

You made this story sound very intriguing.Mentioning from the beginning the author is a scientist working towards winning a Nobel prize and, towards a good cause just makes you more curious about this story. I think when you have a pull to know the ending it makes the book so much more exciting. I'll defiantly read this.

I can really relate to getting so involved with the characters in a book that I want to yell at them when they do something stupid. Actually, I sometimes do yell at them. The review makes it clear that this is the type of book that will allow you to get that involved. I enjoy the Thriller genre and if there are psychological aspects compelling the characters to examine their motives in the process, it becomes just one more reason to put a book on my reading list.

What fascinates me most is that i have read this book and wish to repeat reading it.The Prize written by Geoffrey M Cooper is a genre medical thriller story of two influntial medical scientists doing research on Alzheimer, one Eric Prescott looking to win prize but never discover the cure,he has a method of testing chemical compound, and another Pamela Weller though yet to get tenure in Langmere has her own way of testing chemical compound with speed aimed at tenure, fame and fortune. In this contest who is likely to win prize or fortune, tenure and fame? An interesting review, the tale is not action type, the author did a great deal of work by getting readers mind in the story, his writing was good and such that cantains mystry and some psychological learning, the end result is to see who wins. The reviewer praising the author for his noble outing and found no error in it rated the book 4-4star,he therefore recommend to readers who enjoy suspense novels, find the trueth as you read a copy.

The sample pages I read today along with your review really make this book appealing to me. I found like you did that the pages breezed by as the dialogue was so well done. I have so much to read but this one is so tempting!

Thanks so much for the great review. I enjoyed the sample as well. I appreciated the way the author developed characters that were real enough to care about. The storyline was especially interesting. I didn’t realize research medicine could be so cutthroat!

Thank you for the review. I admit I don't often read this genre but the medical sciences aspect of the book has me intrigued. I look forward to reading it.

Thanks for the review! I love a good thriller with psychological undertones and when it's paired with science, it's bound to be a page-turner.

One seeks fame and the other seeks job security. Which is more important? Depends on each person. The story was easy to follow and the characters nicely described. Congrats on being selected for BOTD.
