Thank you for your review. I was curious about how the content was actually presented and what the heart of the story really was. I appreciate your description of the events and I am adding it to my must read list!

The themes discussed in the book are good since they are a portrayal of contemporary society. For instance religious intolerance.

I hate Amna's father attitude towards Christianity. He stones Christian because of their faith.

Amma's father is a mirror of what happens in the society. Believers have no time to understand other persons faith. People are being discriminated for their faith. To me, that's unacceptable. I like the the themes int the novel.

The spiritual nourishment in the book is immeasurable. We should always fight and defend our religion.

Attractive review showing how the two major religion of the world strive against each other. It paints the differing notion of the existence and essence of God by the differing religions. Putting Islam as a security agent is somewhat symbolic as it can be interpreted as a more binding religion than the liberal religion of Christianity. Islam is painted as justice who is even blind to the children and Christianity as grace, favour and rights, more humane and liberal.
It is inevitable in a work written by a christian from a christian perspective. Have to read some.

Even your review sounds as though the book is a nonfiction book! The book sounds to be helpful, especially to Christians who have not been knowing how to effectively witness to someone. Thanks for the amazing review.
